Description
The Trindade redlip blenny is a scaleless blenny (Blenniidae) from coastal waters of islands off Brazil in the western Atlantic. The species grows to about 6 cm and has a stocky, dark body with conspicuously red lips and fringe-like appendages above the eyes. As a territorial bottom-dweller it perches on coral and rocky reefs and grazes algal growth with comb-like teeth. The fish is harmless to humans.
