Description
Otopharynx decorus is a cichlid endemic to Lake Malawi in East Africa. The species reaches about 18 cm and has an elongate body with an inferior mouth. Juveniles are very common at Namalenje Island, at an average depth of about six metres. The diet consists of invertebrates sifted from the thin layer of sediment on the substrate.
