Description
The twoline eelpout is an eelpout from the northern Pacific. The species grows to about 74 cm and has a strongly elongate, eel-like, brown body with a continuous fin fringe around the tail, characteristic of the eelpouts. As a bottom-dweller it lives on soft bottoms of cold, deep water and feeds on small bottom animals and crustaceans. The fish is harmless to humans and has not been evaluated by the IUCN (NE).
