Description
The Togean flasher wrasse is a flasher wrasse (Labridae) from shallow coral-reef and rubble water around the Togean Islands in Indonesia in the western Pacific. The species grows to about 7 cm; the male shows brilliant red, blue and orange colours and spread fins when displaying. As an active daytime fish it swims just above the reef and snaps at zooplankton. The fish is harmless to humans.
