Description
The fourpored blenny is a labrisomid blenny (Labrisomidae) from coastal waters of the eastern Pacific, off Central and South America. The species grows to about 8 cm and has an elongate, brownish body with fine markings and a fairly large mouth. As a bottom-dweller it shelters among rocks and weed of shallow coastal water and snaps at small crustaceans and molluscs. The fish is harmless to humans.
