Description

The Yellowtail demoiselle is a damselfish (Pomacentridae) from the Indo-West Pacific. The species grows to about 7 cm. The grey-brown body continues into a yellow tail and rear fins. As a reef-dweller it lives in groups around coral and rocky reefs and eats zooplankton and algae. The fish is harmless to humans.
