Description
The Antalya minnow is a small cyprinid endemic to southwestern Turkey, around Antalya. The species grows to about 17 cm and has a slender, silvery body characteristic of the minnows. It lives in fresh and slightly brackish water of springs and streams in a subtropical climate and feeds omnivorously. Because of its very limited range the species is listed as Vulnerable (VU) on the IUCN Red List.
