The Amiet's killifish is a killifish (Nothobranchiidae) from fresh water of Cameroon in west-central Africa. The species grows to about 7 cm; males are handsomely coloured with red, blue and yellow tints and often a lyre tail, females duller. It lives in shaded forest streams and pools and eats small insects, larvae and invertebrates. The fish is harmless to humans and is popular in the aquarium trade.
