Description
The super klipfish is a clinid (Clinidae) from coastal waters of southern Africa. The species grows to about 30 cm and has an elongate, variable green to brown body that matches weed and seagrass, with a long, continuous dorsal fin. As a bottom-dweller it lives in tide pools and on shallow rocky reefs and snaps at small crustaceans, molluscs and small fish. It is livebearing. The fish is harmless to humans.
