Description
Smith-Vaniz's blenny is a very small blenny (Labrisomidae) from the western Atlantic and Caribbean. The species stays about 2 cm long and has an elongate, pale body with a row of broken dark crossbars. As a bottom-dweller it shelters in crevices, holes and among coral rubble of shallow reefs and snaps at small invertebrates. The fish is harmless to humans.
