Description
The smootheye blenny is a very small blenny (Labrisomidae) from the western Atlantic and Caribbean. The species stays about 3 cm long and has an elongate, brown-mottled body that blends well with coral rubble and sponges. As a bottom-dweller it shelters in crevices and holes of shallow reefs and snaps at small invertebrates. The fish is harmless to humans.
