Description
The semiscaled goby is an extremely small goby from the western Atlantic. The species grows to only about 2 cm and has a pale, partly translucent body with partial scaling, to which the English name refers. It lives hidden on shallow reefs and soft substrate and feeds on small zooplankton and invertebrates. The fish is harmless to humans and has not been evaluated by the IUCN (NE).
