Description
The Revillagigedo barnacle blenny is a tiny blenny (Chaenopsidae) found around the remote Revillagigedo Islands in the eastern Pacific. The species grows to only about 3 cm and has an elongate body and a head with fringe-like appendages. It lives in empty barnacle and worm tubes on the reef, from which only the head protrudes, and picks small zooplankton from the current. The fish is harmless to humans.
