Description

The Lucretia goby is a goby (Gobiidae) from sand and mud bottoms of the eastern Pacific. The species grows to about 5 cm and has a slender, pale body with pelvic fins fused into a sucker and large eyes. As a bottom-dweller of deeper water it occupies burrows in soft sediment and snaps at small crustaceans, worms and plankton. The fish is harmless to humans.
