Description

The Cameroon killifish is a killifish from southwestern Cameroon in West Africa, known from the upper Cross and the Mo drainage. The species grows to about 7 cm and is a colourful member of the egg-laying killifishes. It lives in brooks and small streams in rainforest, in soft, slightly acidic fresh water. It is a non-seasonal species in which one male spawns with several females. The fish feeds on small invertebrates and is regarded as difficult to keep. Owing to insufficient data the IUCN lists the species as Data Deficient (DD).
