Description

The bluespotted chromis is a small reef fish (Pomacentridae) from the western Indian Ocean. The species grows to about 12 cm and has a brown-grey to greenish body with fine blue spots on the head and flank. As a reef-dweller it lives in groups above coral-rich slopes and outer reefs and picks suspended zooplankton from the current. The fish is harmless to humans.
