Description
The Bandama goby is a small freshwater goby from West Africa, known from the Bandama River in Ivory Coast. The species grows to about 5 cm and has a stocky body and an inferior sucking mouth with which it clings to stones in fast-flowing water and grazes algae. It is probably amphidromous. The fish is harmless to humans and has not been evaluated by the IUCN (NE).
